Day Trip to Sleep Over

A week starts with me and my friend going for an open house that is being hosted by our friend. Then, we make fun of making a day trip to another state since most of us have free time. The next day, out of the blue one of our friends already made an impromptu itinerary to Melaka. I packed my things and was out by 7:00 in the morning, took my friends, and it took us around three hours to reach Melaka. Then, our first stop is going to be the historical place and have a simple breakfast by the roadside. After, we went to the beach and played water sports. There were a banana boat, a donut boat and jet skiing. Definitely it was the best day ever.

After a tiring day trip, we sleep over at my friend house which is in Seremban. Next, we went to a grocery store because they wanted to make chocolate cookies for supper. It is a bit hard to find the ingredients because there wasn't much of a baking store. In the afternoon, we finally finished baking the cookies and they were so delicious when we ate them with some splash of milk. For dinner, we make some chicken and rice, and we kind of make a little burn on the chicken.

I think a day trip turns into a whole week of sleepover. On a Thursday night, we went for karaoke at the One Utama
Mall. Since we have around 10 people along, we get some freebies like ice cream, chips and hot foods. There was also a small game. We did some

freestyle of our own lyrics and music. The room filled with laughter because the lyrics are just unbearable. Before each of us goes back, we go for a bowling bet which is to see who's the best bowler. My hands get sore after a few games because they were so hard to beat. At the end, I reach home at 2:00 a.m. after sending my friends back home.

Lastly, on Sunday I did 9 hours of part-time work near my house. It is my first time trying to get out from my comfort zone. My manager is nice to me; she teaches me a lot on how to take orders and toast bread. I love my workplace because it has such an upbeat vibe with songs that are the teenage type nowadays, and it's called Cafe 404.

To wrap up, this week started as a simple open house and turned into an impromptu day trip. We did face the challenges of baking cookies and cooking chicken rice even though it burned. I learned a new skill and had a new experience with the sense of being a hardworking person.
